Record year for 25th Edge of the World

The Edge of the World Music Festival had a lot to celebrate this year: a 25th anniversary, record ticket sales, and the return of Haida Soul legend Chini Har.

The festival is a hit with families with a kids’ corner, workshops, and free tickets for kids 12 and under.
Kitselas’ Coastal Drifters landed the sunset set on Saturday, Aug. 10.
Coastal Drifters wind up for a blistering set. “This one goes out to all the aunties,” said lead singer Oscar Carlick.

They called it a Har storm — big crowds came just to see Haida legend Chini Har retake the stage. Har called them the crowd of a lifetime.
Carter and The Capitals got the Saturday night dance-party going with falsetto funk.
Headliners Delhi 2 Dublin pulled off a brave closing set on borrowed gear after none of their own instruments made the flight up.
