After eight years of planning and collaboration, the Charge North electric vehicle charging network is officially complete. The final station was installed in Daajing Giids on June 13, 2025, marking the end of a regional project that stretched across northern and central B.C. An email included in the Sept. 3 council agenda highlighted the contributions of the North Coast Regional District, the Province of B.C., the Government of Canada, and the Northern Development Initiative Trust in funding and support. Project organizers noted the challenges overcome during the rollout, including the pandemic, forest fires, and other disruptions
